Teacher & School Resources
We welcome field trips from all schools throughout the country:
- Elementary schools
- Middle schools
- High schools
- Vocational schools
- College classes/groups
We offer lectures, guided tours, and hands-on exhibits, along with photo opportunities for parents and grandparents to save those images. We can accommodate up to 50 students at a time to enjoy our museum and its educational experience. Our guides will relate stories about the individuals and artifacts to make history come alive.
Students, in the past, have enjoyed our library鈥檚 collection of 1600 books, including a collection of Life Magazines dating 1939-1946. We are planning to allow visitors to check books out for a two-week period.
Option: if you wish, our Curators and Pathfinders (guides) will customize a brief program to fit with your students鈥 current curriculum, in addition to your tour. Our stories about the veterans and artifacts you鈥檒l see here will make history come alive.
